Burn the fats ā You may already have some excess fats in your body that needs burning. You will need to do this by making sure that you get daily exercise. Losing weight is a very serious concern for many. Although there had been cosmetic ways of losing weight, yet the natural process of losing weight is the most effective method so far. The natural losing weight process simply involves following a proper diet and following a simple half an hour exercise schedule everyday. There are several food items/diet plans that can be approached for losing weight. Strongman workout routines are exercises that incorporate movements popularized by strongman competitions. The strongman as an athlete shares many disciplines with that of body builders but instead of lifting plates of varying weights, strongmen lift objects that people can relate such as logs, stones, people, tires, and some even pull 18 wheeler trucks. Strongman competitions draw its origins from the Highland Games of Scotland. Because of the rising popularity of the competition, many have incorporated strongman movements into workout routines and may include tire flips, sled drags, farmerās walks, and others. For the average person, the weights of the objects used for strongman workout is very much lighter than those used by professional athletes.
To know what exercises to include for strongman workout routines, we must know first what a strongman competition requires from the athletes. Strongman contests require athletes who have trained their entire body for strength and they must be adept at the squat, deadlift, and the overhead press. Along with impressive strength, the strongman must be able to deliver it with explosive force. Explosive force can only be attained with the right combination of weightlifting training, cardio-vascular conditioning and plyometric exercises. Another important requirement for the strongman is exceptional grip strength. Obviously, a strongman must know not only how to use common gym implements such as barbells, cables and weights; he must be familiar about lifting logs or flipping large tires.
The foundation of a strongman is strength and before anyone can do strongman workouts, the individual must already have a strength conditioning base. If such is not present, then he must build it using weightlifting workout routines.
When the required base strength is already available, the individual can perform the following strongman workouts. Of course, for the average person interested in incorporating strongman workout routines into his physical fitness program, the weights of the objects used such as tires, stones, sandbags and logs are very much less than what is used in professional strongman competitions.
Farmerās walk ā this exercise is called the farmerās walk because it is similar to the way farmers carry objects such as buckets of water, bales of hay, and gallons of milk while walking on each hand. The farmerās walk is great for core conditioning. When walking, the back should be straight. Avoid stooping because it places undue stress on your back. Weights that can be used for this exercise could be dumbbells, sandbags or medicine balls with carrying straps.
Tire flips ā Football coaches love this workout. There are two variations of the tire flip One is called the āFootball Flipā, the other one is called āDead Flipsā. When executing Football Flips, the athlete places his hand on the upper corner of a tire that is lying on the ground. His knees are bent and his feet are spread a little wider than his shoulders. The athlete pushes the wheel with his hands and lifts the wheel with this pushing force. When the wheel is standing up, the athlete pushes the wheel to topple it over. The motion is repeated. Dead Flips are executed by placing the hands under the tire. With his knees bent and back straight, the athlete holds the tireās lower corner. Using his legs, he springs upwards in an explosive force and carries the tire with him. When the tire is almost vertical, the athlete changes his grip, bends his knees a bit thus allowing the tire to fall. He follows this with a pushing motion toppling the tire over.
With the two exercises mentioned above, anyone can make his workout more challenging but there is more fun doing it. Strongman workout routines can be another useful tool to maintain motivation for doing exercises.

From a fitness standpoint, circuit training is highly practical because it combines both cardio and resistance building workouts in one. Circuit training is designed to be easy to follow and it targets fat loss, muscle building and heart-lung fitness. In the venue, one can jog for ten minutes; do 3 sets of pushups, squats, sit-ups and maybe lunges. This superset of exercises is called a circuit.
If you prefer to workout at home, a good start would be 3 days of cardio alternated with 2 days of resistance training. A good example to follow would be :
Monday ā cardio exercises consisting of skipping rope, sit-ups, lunges
Tuesday ā strength training consisting of bench press squats, curls
Wednesday ā rest, stretching
Thursday ā cardio exercises consisting of step exercises, abs exercises, stretching
Friday ā strength training ā chest fly dumbbell deadlifts
Saturday ācardio āconsisting of stationary bike, stretching
Sunday ā rest
To ensure proper execution and correct form, beginners should consult a workout coach or a personal trainer. Form and execution is important especially for weight training in order to lessen the risk of injury.
